A division of the Pearson PLC group called Pearson Language Tests is responsible for evaluating and validating non-native English speakers' use of the English language. The examinations comprise the PTE Academic, PTE General (formerly known as the London examinations of English), and PTE Young Learners versions of the Pearson Test of English (PTE).
